'SNP is failing Scotland' – Boris orders SNP to stop talking about 'constitutional issues'

Boris Johnson was quizzed about the replacement to the Erasmus scheme and its replacement, the Turing scheme, and was told that Scottish students were coming to the SNP and showing their support for independence. But the Prime Minister deflected the jibe and said that the replacement programme was good and that the SNP should stop talking about “endless constitutional issues”. Mr Johnson continued and said she and her party should focus on crime and education in Scotland – two things the SNP have been criticised for as ignoring.
