During today’s Sunday Brunch, hosts Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy invited Jimmy Carr, Vogue Williams, Alex James, Steve Davis and Kavus Torabi on to the Channel 4 show. Although, things took an unexpected turn when the presenters invited chef Angela Harnett on to the programme to do a cooking demonstration. The segment soon descended into chaos when Simon and Angela jokingly clashed leading the chef to threaten to walk off set.
Introducing the segment, host Simon began: “Angela Harnett, how are you?”
She replied: “I’m alright. We’ve opened a couple of places [this week]. It has been busy, everyone has been freezing, sitting there with blankets.
“But, it has been great. I think everyone has just been excited to be out.”
Simon continued: “I think we’ve been lucky this week because even though it’s been cold, there’s been no rain. A bit of sunshine.”

Simon went on to talk about a charity cookbook that featured a selection of recipes from a number of celebrity chefs – including recipes from himself and Angela.
As he opened the book, Simon jokingly turned to the pages that showed his own recipes.
Speaking about her own recipes, Angela explained: “I’ve got an apple pie and…I mean, is it a recipe?
“It’s basically a bacon and egg bun. You know like a proper old school bun. Brown sauce…”
Stepping in to defend her bacon bun, Angela explained: “To defend my bacon bun it was all about lockdown recipes what you were making at home.
“I mean there are some quite cracking recipes in that book…”
Simon joked: “And yours.”
The chef replied: “And mine, alright shall I just go?
“I mean seriously, the first guest on.”
