The brothers had reportedly not spoken since the interview which sent shockwaves through the royal family. A source told Page Six that Harry and William were looking to begin speaking soon, saying: “They have opened communication channels.”
During a trip to schools in East London, William and Kate Middleton were questioned on if the brothers had spoken.
“No, I haven’t spoken to him yet, but I will do,” said the Duke of Cambridge on Thursday.
Speaking in the Oprah Interview Prince Harry said he loved William very much.
“I love William to bits,” said Harry.
“We’ve been through hell together and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.”
Harry and Meghan stepped back from their position as senior royals on January 8 citing racism as a reason.
Buckingham palace released a statement on March 9 in response to the comments made by the Sussexes during their interview with Winfrey.
It read: “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.
