Melania Trump, a mother of one and a former-model, threw her weight behind her husband today. She called for US citizens to support her husband. As she praised Donald Trump, to whom she has been married since 2005, she wore a green coat with a military feel.
The coat was belted at the waist and likely kept the First Lady warm tonight.
She paired the dress with what appeared to be a brown suede dress and brown Louboutin snakeskin heels.
Melania made the impassioned speech, praising the tough decisions her husband has made while in office amid the coronavirus crisis.
She criticised Joe Biden for attacking her husband. She cast doubt on her husband’s opponents claim he could have handle COVID-19 better.
The American people would be able to “determine whether Joe Biden could finally get something done for the American people” after working in office for over 30 years.
Melania called Donald “tough, successful and fair”
And “handsome!” someone from the crowd shouted, prompted the First Lady to laugh and say: “I agree.”
She praised Trump’s “big heart and great sense of humour.”

The look might remind some of Melania’s “I don’t care” jacket, which caused outrage.
The First Lady shocked in 2018 when she wore a jacket that read “I don’t care, do u?” to meet Mexican children on the border.
The Zara jacket was criticised by many for the message, which might have appeared callous given the severity of the migrant situation at the US border.
Melania’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham tweeted on behalf of the First Lady, referencing her choice of jacket.
She wrote: “Today’s visit w the children in Texas impacted @flotus greatly.
“If media would spend their time & energy on her actions & efforts to help kids – rather than speculate & focus on her wardrobe – we could get so much accomplished on behalf of children. #SheCares #ItsJustAJacket”.
Melania Trump: Five facts about the USA’s First Lady
Mum-of-one Melania can speak more languages than any other First Lady before her: English, French, German, Italian, Serbian and of course her mother tongue, Slovenian.
This also makes her the only First Lady whose first language is not English.
After Jacqueline Kennedy, Melania is the second First Lady who is a practising Catholic.
She met Pope Francis as part of a foreign tour with her husband and stepdaughter Ivanka last year.
Melania was a successful model, posing for Sports Illustrated, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and GQ.
Her skills aren’t confined to print, and she appeared in a commercial for Aflac, an American insurance company, in 2005.
Melania’s parents are Amalija Knavs and Viktor Knavs, and the couple live together in Washington.
She has one sister, Ines, who is reported to live in New York and work as an artist.
On May 7 2018, Melania launched her flagship campaign as First Lady, BE BEST, which The White House describes as “an awareness campaign focused entirely around the well-being of children”.
There are three main strands to the initiative: well-being, social media, and opioid abuse.
