Amad is set for more minutes tonight when Manchester United take on Real Sociedad in the second leg of their Europa League last 32 tie. The Red Devils take a strong 4-0 advantage into the meeting, having scored four away goals in Turin last week.
The result has given Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the freedom to rotate his squad ahead of the Premier League trip to Chelsea.
It would take a monumental collapse for United to throw away the lead now, with Solskjaer expected to shuffle his pack.
Dean Henderson should start in goal and will keep his place from last week’s meeting.
There has been plenty of speculation regarding his future after he was dropped back to the bench against Newcastle on Sunday night.

Meanwhile, Bailly has been trying to move ahead of Lindelof in the pecking order with injuries halting his progress.
In midfield Fred and Nemanja Matic are expected to get the nod at the base of midfield.
Solskjaer has already confirmed that Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek and Edinson Cavani will all still be absent.
“They’ll still be missing,” explained the United boss. “They’ve not joined training so they won’t be ready. No.
“Paul has been outside on the grass and is starting to step up his recovery but he’s not near the team for this game.”
In more exciting news, Solskjaer admitted that both Amad and Shola Shoretire could be involved for United.
“It’ll be more or less the same squad that we had against Newcastle,” added Solskjaer.
“Hannibal [Mejbri] is injured for about a month. Amad and Shola will, of course, be involved. They are in the squad but I am not going to tell you if they are starting or not.”
Amad is expected to get at least 30 minutes from the bench, with Daniel James and Marcus Rashford expected to start on the wings.
There could be a rare start for Juan Mata too in the hole, with Mason Greenwood expect to lead the line.
Expected Man Utd XI (4-2-3-1): Henderson; Williams, Tuanzebe, Bailly, Telles; Fred, Matic; James, Mata, Rashford; Greenwood.
