Man Utd player ratings: Fernandes and Greenwood both sensational in Brighton win

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saw his side continue their impressive form with a 3-0 victory over Brighton at the Amex Stadium. Mason Greenwood and Bruno Fernandes were both exceptional as the Red Devils picked up another three crucial points. Express Sport will now rate and slate United’s players.

David De Gea – 7

Was picked ahead of Sergio Romero and had a comfortable afternoon. Made a couple of fine saves and will have been delighted to keep the hosts at bay.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – 7

Continues to evolve at right-back. His offensive play is improving all the time and he played a big role in Greenwood’s opening goal.

Harry Maguire – 6

Unlike the weekend, no goal for the captain. But he’d have been delighted to keep a clean sheet after Norwich breached the club’s defence at the weekend.

Victor Lindelof – 6

His intelligence paved the way for Greenwood’s opener and the Sweden international was a calm and composed performer at the Amex.

Andreas Pereira – 6

The Brazilian was given a chance to prove his worth and demonstrated some neat touches as United cruised their way to victory

Brandon Williams – 6

The left-back helped United keep a clean sheet at the Amex and also got forward in attack.

Daniel James – 6

Nearly scored but his finish was too soft. Came on with the game already well won.

Odion Ighalo – 6

Couldn’t score for United but will be happy at getting more minutes under his belt.
