Kate Garraway’s husband Derek Draper, 53, is reportedly finally back home after more than a year in hospital battling long Covid.
It has been said Derek has been taken off all machines, but will be cared for at the family’s property in North London.
A friend said: “Kate’s dreamt of this day for so long, and can’t thank wonderful NHS staff enough.”
Despite the breakthrough, the Good Morning Britain host’s family has been warned that Derek still faces a “long and gruelling” health battle.
