'I can't resist!' Biden's bizarre response after being told not to take anymore questions

Following the end of a press conference, Joe Biden stated he was supposed to leave but could not resist answering questions. It comes as the US President’s press secretary Jan Psaki admitted that he had been advised not to take impromptu questions.

Following his press conference, Mr Biden turned his back and walked away from the podium.

However, a reporter shouted a question towards him and the US President turned around and walked towards the microphone.

Mr Biden said: “You guys are bad, I’m not supposed to be answering all these questions, I’m supposed to leave, I can’t resist your questions.”

White House press secretary Jen Psaki previously stated it is “not recommended” for the US President to take impromptu questions.

“But he’s going to do what he wants to do because he’s the President of the United States.”

President Biden said: “America is back and I speak to you today as President of the United States and I am sending a very clear message to the world, America is back.

“The partnership between Europe and the United States in my view is and must remain the cornerstone of all that we hope to accomplish in the 21st century, just as we did in the 20th century.”

He added: “Let me erase any doubt, the United States will work closely with our European Union partners and capitals across the continent from Rome to Riga to meet the range of shared challenges we face.”
