According to royal expert, Katie Nicholl, the pair want to be involved in discussions around improving diversity within the royal institution. However, commenting on the Express.co.uk story, readers reacted with fury over the offer and praised the Queen for snubbing the Sussexes. One person said: “So kind of them to offer their inexperience.”
A second said: “I don’t blame the Queen.
“She does not need advice from a very sensitive couple on how she had not seen colour, nationality, gender, etc in her reign.
“She is Head of the Commonwealth for a reason. She loves all people.”
A third said: “Gobsmacked at their arrogance and cheek.
“Are they looking for a way back into free everything?”
Another said: “I nearly fell off me chair laughing! Who are they to ‘advise’ anyone?”
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Ms Nicholl claimed the Royal Family are adamant that any changes within the Firm, will be a Palace operation only.
Amid allegations, one royal commented on Archie’s skin colour, the Firm have revealed an internal investigation will take place.

“This is being taken care of by courtiers with the oversight of the Queen and members of the Royal Family.
“Essentially this is an in palace operation.
“I think it’s quite telling that Meghan and Harry haven’t been invited to be a part of an investigation into the bullying claims against Meghan.
“They are being kept quite deliberately distanced from that.”
Referencing the move for a diversity czar, Ms Nicholl claimed the idea had been mooted among the Royal Family for some time.
In a statement, Buckingham Palace also admitted the claims made by Meghan and Harry were concerning and would be evaluated privately.
In terms of the identity of the royal who allegedly made racists comments, both Harry and Meghan insisted they would not reveal the person.
It was later revealed that it was not the Queen or Prince Philip who made the comments, Oprah Winfrey explained.
