Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco hits back at critics in new Netflix role: 'I've worked hard'

Kaley Cuoco was one of the biggest stars from The Big Bang Theory during its 12-season run on CBS, impressing in the role of Penny Hofstadter. Since the show ended in 2019, Kaley’s had no shortage of big-name roles, including HBO’s The Flight Attendant and DC Universe’s Harley Quinn. And she also made an appearance in new Netflix series The Cabin with Bert Kreischer, in which she hit back at some of the criticism she’s faced previously.

Kaley joined comedian Bert Kreischer and fellow guests Joel McHale and Ms Pat for a one-off edition of the new Netflix show.

And it’s safe to say she didn’t receive the warmest of receptions from one of her co-stars for her role on Big Bang.

Comedian Ms Pat took aim at the sitcom, slamming the fact that Kaley and a number of her co-stars were racking up approximately $1million per episode in its latter seasons.

This led to Bert wanting to hear more from the Big Bang star about handling those who may suggest she “hasn’t really worked” for anything.

However, the actor did soon get her point across, telling Bert: “I mean, I’m sure people say that,

“But I worked very, very hard which I’m very proud about.”

Kaley then shared a laugh with her fellow guests after hitting back at the criticism.

And the Big Bang star’s hard work has continued to pay off as she returns to screens in The Flight Attendant on November 26.
